Jonathan Wansbrough
Jonathan Wansbrough is a member of the 2010 summer student class at Cassels Brock, and has completed his second year of law school at Queen’s University. Following his first year of law school, Jonathan studied international business law at the Queen’s International Study Centre in the United Kingdom.
During law school, Jonathan was involved with the Moot Court Program, Queen’s Legal Aid, Queen’s Law Journal, and the Career Services Committee. Jonathan competed in the Hicks Morley Labour Law Moot during his first year of law school, and recently competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. Through Queen’s Legal Aid, Jonathan conducted legal research, prepared memoranda, and represented clients in a variety of settings, including a trial before the Provincial Offences Court and a hearing before the Social Benefits Tribunal.
Jonathan earned his BComm (Honours) with specialization in international management from the University of Ottawa. Prior to attending law school, Jonathan worked in several departments of the Federal Government, including the Department of Finance, and Public Works and Government Services Canada.
Jonathan is an avid sport fisherman, and enjoys playing hockey and golfing.
