Mark I. Young

Mark is the Managing Partner at Cassels Brock and a member of its Executive and Operations Committees.

Mark’s practice focuses primarily on public offerings and private placement transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and the financing strategies applicable to such transactions. He acts as counsel for a number of investment dealers on corporate finance transactions and securities regulation matters. In addition, he serves as counsel to various public companies in connection with business combinations, amalgamations, plans of arrangement, takeover bids and going-private transactions.

Mark has considerable experience in international transactions and in acting on behalf of clients in a variety of industries, including mining, biomedical and computer technology, entertainment, communications and aerospace. Mark has served as an officer or director for a number of public companies which are involved in these industry sectors.

Mark joined Cassels Brock in August 1994.
